Greetings – Les salutations
First impressions matter! These are the go-to French phrases for beginners : saying hello and asking how someone is doing:
Tip: Use Bonjour during the day, and Bonsoir in the evening. Salut is great with friends!
Introducing Yourself – Se présenter
Once you've greeted someone, it’s time to tell them who you are:
Practice Dialogue:
– Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Clara. Et toi ?
– Salut Clara ! Moi, c’est Max. Enchanté !
Saying Goodbye – Dire au revoir
Wrap up your conversation with one of these classic French goodbyes:
